Jane Northrup, Vice President of Contracts and Solutions
Jane’s career with Source Atlantic began in January 2019 as our Customer Solutions Manager. Jane is primarily responsible for developing customized supply chain solutions, overseeing projects and their implementations, and leading the machine automation and robotic solutions team. Jane is very passionate about project management, process improvement, and the power of a positive team environment! Christina Brown, Director of Marketing
Christina joined Source Atlantic in August 2006, and, as Marketing Director for Source Atlantic, is primarily responsible for marketing, advertising and digital strategy, eCommerce marketing, events, and brand development. Prior to starting at Source Atlantic, Christina spent four years in the Marketing department at an Atlantic Canadian building supply store, Kent Building Supplies. Christina studied at Saint Mary’s University, earning a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing, and subsequently completed her Master’s in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University in 2014. Matt Hanlon, Director of Applied Innovation & Technology
Beginning his career with Source Atlantic as a summer student in 2007, Matt has had numerous roles within the company, most recently as our Director of Applied Innovation & Technology. This role is responsible for managing IT, eCommerce, and Analytics. Matt is very passionate about the digital evolution of business! Over the last 14 years, Matt has completed his Master’s of Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University and has been a champion in many IT implementations including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Prophet 21 ERP, CribMaster, and Office 365. Julie Marr, Director of Human Resources
Julie joined Source Atlantic in 1995 and held various payroll and HR roles before becoming the HR Manager/Payroll Manager for Source Atlantic in 2003. In her time with Source Atlantic, Julie has developed Source Atlantic’s human resources strategies, learning strategies, and culture, implemented our learning management system, our performance management process, negotiated our union contracts, and integrated multiple acquisitions into Source Atlantic’s culture. Julie studied at the University of New Brunswick, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration, followed by the completion of the Human Resources Certificate. Connect with Julie
Sean Duguay, Vice President of Sales
Sean joined the Source Atlantic team in 1999 and is an ambitious, sales-oriented, professional who excels in establishing mutually beneficial partnerships with customers and business partners. Sean has held various roles at Source Atlantic and, in 2016, became Source Atlantic’s National Sales Manager. Sean is both responsible for and passionate about developing a professional sales team through training and mentoring, expanding Source Atlantic’s customer base, and helping customers improve their business performance. In 1996, Sean obtained an Industrial Controls Technologies degree at NBCC, and in 2017 he received his Certified Sales Professional Designation. Connect with Sean
Pat Heaphy, Vice President of Soucie Salo
Pat has been providing customers with solutions to their safety needs since January 1989! Pat began his professional career with Soucie Salo, working in almost every position within the company. From warehousing to purchasing to inside and outside sales, Pat’s scope of responsibility has continued to evolve. Pat is currently the Vice President of Soucie Salo and works tirelessly to provide the best safety products and solutions to ensure his customers make it home safe. Josee LeBel, Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain
Josee joined the Source Atlantic team in April 2022 as the Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain. Josee has over 20 years of Business Improvement with leading roles in operations from small to large global companies. She has held roles such as Director of HR, which included international recruitment and immigration, and Director of Operations where she led the Canadian teams through the adoption of new technology to improve customer delivery and experience. Josee is passionate about collaboration, continuous learning, coaching, and supporting teams to achieve their full potential. Steve joined Source Atlantic in 2001 as President of Source Atlantic Limited. Steve’s professional journey began with obtaining his BBA at the University of Prince Edward Island and MBA at the University of Western Ontario (Richard Ivey School of Business). He has served on numerous Boards of Directors, most recently elected as a member of the board of directors for Affiliated Distributors (AD). In pursuit of providing strong governance for his board appointments, Steve completed his ICD.D designation for the Rotman School of Management. Under Steve’s leadership, Source Atlantic has acquired several companies and has evolved into a dynamic supply chain management business that provides a wide array of world-class products, specialty services, and solutions to customers. Mark Laprise, Operations Manager - Atlantic Region
Mark has a long and tenured career with Source Atlantic starting in September 2000. Mark began his career as President of Schooner Industrial, with three locations in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Ontario. In 2010, the Schooner locations joined forces with Source Atlantic whereby Mark set out to apply his significant managerial and operational experience as Source Atlantic’s Operations Manager for the Atlantic region. Without a doubt, Mark is passionate about building well-functioning, positive, and customer-oriented teams! Mark studied Financial Accounting at Nova Scotia Community College, completed the Professional Management program at Texas A&M, and is enrolled in the OSCO Leadership Certificate program. Jason Willms, Operations Manager - Western Region
Jason joined Source Atlantic in 2023 as the Western Regional Operations Manager. His primary responsibilities are to evaluate and optimize operational performance, manage inside sales and branch managers and oversee procurement and inventory supply. He earned a Bachelor of Management Degree, Majoring in Marketing from the University of Lethbridge. Jason continued his education by completing the Dale Carnegie Course, and the Alberta Mortgage Broker Course. Jason has spent the past 30 years working numerous management positions most recently a position as the Executive Director of Operations for Cineplex Entertainment for Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan. Jason possesses excellent leadership skills and is enthusiastic about coaching, supporting teams to success, solving complex problems and executing diverse versatile thinking. Connect with Jason
Jordan Udle, Atlantic Canada Sales Manager
Jordan joined the Source Atlantic team in 2020 as a Regional Sales Manager. His roles include overseeing the sales team, help develop and implement new sales strategies, curate and review sales budgets, and analyze sales data to drive sound business decisions. Prior to Source Atlantic, Jordan studied at Saint Mary’s University, earning a Bachelors of Commerce, following with a MBA in Marketing & Finance at Dalhousie University. Post graduation Jordan spent 12 years working as Account Manager, moving up to a Key Account Sales Manager for Saint-Gobain Abrasives. Jay Lavigne, Western Canada Sales Manager
Jay Lavigne joined Source Atlantic in 2012. His roles have included Business Development Manager for Atlantic Canada, Branch Manager at our Mount Pearl Branch to his current role as Regional Sales Manager for Western Canada. This role includes implementing new sales methodologies, curating, and reviewing sales budgets, and expanding market reach through new customer acquisition. Jay studied at the University of New Brunswick earning a BBA and undertook a MMBA at the University of McGill. Keith Rude, Automation Robotics and Machines Manager
Keith Rude joined Source Atlantic in 2022 as a Machine Equipment Technical Specialist, and moved into the Regional Sales Manager, Automation, Robotics and Machines division, position in 2023. He began his 15+ year career in the machining industry as an apprentice machinist, earning his Red Seal certification in 2011. From machining he moved to service and application engineering roles, before joining the team at Source Atlantic. This diverse background has given him deep insights into the day-to-day operations of machine shops, as well as the knowledge to recommend the right machine for the job. In his current role, Keith is dedicated to creating a highly skilled sales team that brings value to its customers with best-in-class solutions, service, and support.Connect with Keith
Curtis Lord, Plumbing and Heating Sales Manager
Curtis joined Source Atlantic in 2024 and, as the Plumbing and Heating Sales Manager, is tasked to create and execute strategies to grow the plumbing and heating division. Curtis is dedicated to creating value by focusing on solutions, developing customer and supplier relationships, providing positive customer experiences, and developing the skills and expertise of his sales team. Before Source Atlantic, Curtis received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from St.F.X. University in Nova Scotia. After graduation, Curtis spent over 25 years in leadership roles, leading regional and national sales teams in the packaging manufacturing, industrial distribution, building materials, and engineering services sectors.
