Building A More Sustainable Future

As an established organization, Source Atlantic commits to embedding a sustainable governance framework driving innovation, diversity, and inclusion. Source Atlantic recognizes our role in the supply chain and our responsibility to create value for our business, and our customers by mitigating how we impact the environment by finding solutions that deliver results.

Sustainable Governance Framework

In 2015, the United Nations created a set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. The 17 SDGs are integrated. They recognize that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability. At Source Atlantic, our current focus areas are:

  • Health & safety program to protect our workers.
  • Competitive wages and benefits with enhanced vacation allowance.
  • Proud to be distinguished as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies since 2017.
  • An equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.

  • Implementation of Scope 1-2 decarbonization initiatives: LED, Net-Zero facility, and EV vehicle.
  • Providing longer life cycles for industrial machinery by offering repair services for industries.
  • Providing data to highlight consumption opportunities across various partners.
  • Assisting customers to become more energy efficient and decrease GHG emissions through innovative products, services, and solutions.

  • Partnering with customers to reuse vending machine packaging and general packing materials.
  • Partnering with our vendors to supply a better product that is a more energy-efficient, biodegradable, or recyclable option.
  • Metal recycling programs in our service operations.
