KASTO Automatic High-Performance Bandsaw (Cutting Range up to 560mm x 560mm)

Automatic high-performance bandsawing machine for serial cutting of solids, tubes and profiles in material qualities which are easy to difficult to cut. The standard precise linear guides (re-circulating ball units with grease lubricated guide carriage) guarantee maximum life. The optimal use of carbide or bi-metal blades has been taken into account persistently when this machine has been designed. The powerful control system allows an intuitive operation of the machine and, due to the reduced idle times in automatic operation, maximum cutting capacities. All parameters can be adapted op-timally to the type of saw blade in use. This does not only reduce the tool costs, it also results in considerably shorter cutting times: Depending on the saw blade, cost savings of 50 % and even more are possible. The precise drive via ball bearing spindle in material feed guarantees an accurate material length positioning. Frequency controlled spur gear driving with overload monitoring and clamping pressure monitoring for blade clamping and both vices belong to the standard equipment for working processes regard-ing cutting of individual pieces, smaller and average lot sizes and large series. An infinitely variable electromechanic saw feed with two servomotors and ball bearing spindles offers the best conditions for an efficient, sensitive and tool-saving cutting operation.
