The crepe paper backing conforms over irregular surfaces and around corners while holding reliably. It is especially useful in woodworking and cabinet making applications. With easy tear ability and resistance to slivering, 3M™ masking tape 2307 has proven to be an excellent choice for woodworking and cabinet applications. Using a rubber adhesive, this solvent-free tape holds well and removes cleanly in one piece. The easy unwind and simple tear ability of this tape should help you get your project done quickly. General purpose masking tapes can be used for critical and non-critical paint masking. Masking tape was developed specifically to help protect surrounding surfaces from over spray provide clean paint lines and remove easily and cleanly when finished.
