Crosby® Turnbuckle, Series: HG-227, Jaw/Eye End/End, 1-1/2 in Thread Dia, 21400 lb Working, 12 in Take Up, 34.21 in Close Length, Steel, Hot Dipped Galvanized
- End fittings are quenched and tempered or normalized, bodies heat treated by normalizing
- Turnbuckle eyes are forged elongated, by design, to maximize easy attachment in system and minimize
- For turnbuckles size 1/4 in through 2-1/2 in, a shackle one size smaller can be reeved through eye
- Forged jaw ends are fitted with bolts and nuts for 1/4 in through 5/8 in and pins and cotters on 3/4
- Modified UNJ thread on end fittings for improved fatigue properties
- Body has UNC threads
