We constructed 3M™ adhesive transfer tape 966 with 3M™ high temperature acrylic adhesive 100 and a 62# densified kraft paper liner. This adhesive is designed for industrial applications subjected to high temperature environments for short periods of time. Adhesive transfer tape meets NASA low outgassing specifications (ASTM e 595) including low leachable chloride which can be important considerations for the electronic and aerospace industries. Historically, a TML of 1% and CVCM of 0.1% have been used as screening levels for rejection of spacecraft materials (NASA). 3M™ adhesive transfer tape 966 displays excellent solvent and UV resistance for long lasting performance.
