The Standard Abrasives™ surface conditioning RC belt saves time preparing workpieces for final finishes and coatings by performing 1-step prep work. Constructed with enhanced edge durability and flexibility, combined with high initial and extended cut rate, this is a great all around belt for deburring, blending, cleaning and finishing on composites and softer metals. RC construction for composites and softer metals. Featuring a more compact structure of non-woven fibers than Buff® blend products, our Standard Abrasives™ surface conditioning RC belt is engineered to provide high initial and extended rates of cut, while maintaining edge durability. Constructed of resin reinforced, non-woven fiber, the belt material resists loading and minimizes under cutting or gouging of the work piece. Compared with our GP surface conditioning products, RC material offers a faster cut and increased durability for edgework. It is a great choice for general use, delivering a solid mix of durability, flexibility and cut rate. We designed FE material with a woven fabric (scrim) embedded in the nylon structure to provide additional strength and durability. This helps extend the life of the belt and allows for extended use on ferrous metals where final finishing is important. The outstanding performance of surface conditioning material. Surface conditioning products have a non-woven construction in which fiber strands, resin and abrasive mineral form a thick, open web or mesh.
