It can be used by hand or machine. 3M™ super duty rubbing compound aggressively eliminates scratches and oxidation. The compound stays wet longer so there is enough time to remove imperfections. The heavy cut compound smooth's out blemishes and produces a lustrous appearance with minimal effort. Our super duty rubbing compound works on all types of automotive paint and gelcoat. This rubbing compound contains no waxes or silicones, making it safe for automotive body shops. It's recommended to follow up with polishes and waxes to preserve and protect the finish.
