The 31-hole pad pattern is a proprietary 3M™ design that helps maximize dust extraction for a cleaner work surface. 3M™ clean sand painter's pad with Hookit™ attachment system is a painter's backup pad that uses the proprietary 3M™ 31-hole design for outstanding dust control when used with 5 in 3M™ clean sand abrasives or other 6-hole or 5 in Dust-Free abrasive products. Our dust management system pulls dust away from the work surface better than many competitive products. The series of uniquely positioned holes allows extraction of the dust to prevent loading, increase productivity and provide a cleaner work surface. Our system adds life to the abrasive and creates a more pleasant work experience. Abrasive discs are easy to attach and change out with the Hookit™ attachment system.
